We had a great time and had our opportunities to turn in a better round. Our team was thankful for the start delay. It helped us to relax and get into the tournament mentally. The course was in real nice shape, especially the greens. No complaints on the food. The steaks were delicious. My favorite was the brownie ice cream dessert. The prizes were excellent and 2 of our 4 players won something. Again, great job and thanks for your hospitality. I will be looking forward to next year, hopefully with the same team.

2009 St. Marks Scramble at Hampden C.C. Hampden MA 01036
I can sum up what the rest of my foursome has commented on for the scramble that your committee worked so hard make happen…..Pat Griffin has played in many scrambles and was amazed that $ 95.00 covered 18 holes with a cart, dinner, practice range, prizes, raffles, hole in one contest, putting contest, closest to the pins, grab bag, golf card discounts, your vacation get-aways and the staffing that was on each of the par 3’s. It was a great day and lots of fun. The course was great and a tough set-up and our foursome is looking forward to 2010 to defend our title. We all commented that for $ 95.00, usually that would only include 18 holes, cart and dinner. To include all the other amenities was a bonus. Paul Davey liked your choice of Hampden as he has enjoyed playing there over the years. Myself and Fran Maroney also had a great time from the range to the dinner and the atmosphere. All the volunteers did an outstanding job from the time we pulled into the parking lot. Everyone was having fun and that made the event enjoyable.
